Saint Jude Care Home is set within a beautiful three story Victorian house in the Blundellsands conservation area of North Liverpool. The area is a quiet and leafy suburb which is served by Blundellsands & Crosby railway station and has excellent bus links to all nearby towns. We are situated very close to Crosby village and College road, both offer a great variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. Crosby Beach is approximately 0.5 miles from the home and in the summer months we often go along to the seafront to enjoy and ice-cream and a stroll along the promenade.

 

The home has recently undergone an extensive programme of improvement and refurbishment which included the construction of a large orangery to the rear of the home and 5 new en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor.

The home is equiped with two walk-in shower rooms and medical hoist to assist those with mobility issues and there are washing facilities in all bedrooms. Full toilet facilities are available on all floors. 

 

We strive to use modern technology to improve safety and care quality and this now includes a computer based care planning system to ensure we are at the forefront of technological advancement. All bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas have a state of the art digital nurse call system which ensures that a member of care staff is at hand 24 hours a day.

All bedrooms have a basic TV point and satellite TV or phone lines can be installed at an additional cost.

 

Access into the home is excellent via a large entrance hall which has no step or raised area which might restrict entry and we have extensive parking at the font of the home for approximately 10 cars.

Outside the home all residents have access to large mature grassed gardens to the front and the rear of the property with an additional patio seating area
